Hello my lovely readers, I just wanted to let you know that Im taking a blogging break for a few days or so.. My grandfather is very ill and Im going to be with my family, Im drained , and sad and cannot concentrate on the fabulous world of decorating.

Fallen in Love with Fabric

I'm just loving this fabric by Quadrille, the pink and orange together are just so beautiful. I don't think I've loved a fabric this much since Chiang Mai Dragon.

Apparently, I am not alone in my love as Mary McDonald designed a bedroom with it in June's House Beautiful.

Eddie Ross also loves it!   

How gorgeous is this table he designed? I don't I have been this in love with a table scape all year!! And, the pink faux bamboo chairs! LOVE.

Gold Sharpie Does Wonders!

I saw this on the over at Full House. I just about died!!

Would you believe me if I told you that wall is a stencil filled in with Gold Sharpie? It is soo gorgeous! Can you imagine the patience that would go into this? I'd ask my hubby to take it on with me but I think I love him too much to risk that one :)

Beachy Keen Part Two!

I posted about Manhattan Beach designer Jill Johnson here last March.

I loved her work so much, and I decided pop over to Waterleaf Interiors website to see what other gems there were, and looky what I found! I love her style! A mix of laid back beachy, yet sophisticated and slightly glamorous!

I don't know about you but I love decorating with books, I have the Domino book by my bed, and a stack of some other favorites on the coffee table including of course Jonathan Adler, Kelly Wearstler, Sex and the City, and The Well Dressed Home.

Lets hear it for the Boys!

I've always been a fan of the little guys! They truly capture my heart, probably because they tend to be a little more sneaky, and naughty than the girls and the inner kid in me loves it!

I hope when ever the time for me to get preggo comes that I get blessed with a boy, and if i do you better believe I will be inspired by these adorable boy rooms:

On a side note, I hope everyone had a fabulous Fathers day! Posting might be slightly light this week as I'm working away like a mad woman on my business plan for Serendipity Interiors. Pictures of my home are going to be taken next weekend for my portfolio! I can't wait to share them with you and I hope you will enjoy our humble abode.

Blue Wallpaper & a Little Bitty Starburst Mirror

I love the look of both of these rooms with the beautiful blue and white wallpaper and the little starburst mirror. Isn't it amazing how it can work for a child, adolescent, or grown up room? It seems peoples biggest complaint is that wallpapers hard to remove well look.. ya don't have to! Hmmm

Nest Eggs Amazing Kitchen Redo

I finally got through all my emails today and I was soo excited when I got the blog post from Nest Egg. Look at this kitchen redo!! Isn't it gorgeous! I just cannot get enough of that lighting. Its like a star burst mirror, twisted right in to the most beautiful light fixture! Of course its by the amazing Suzanne Kasler for Visual Comfort. I love it! She is amazing!

White Hot Wednesday- Nate Berkus Style

Yes, it's a bit of an oldie but its for sure a goodie! The ladies over at Moggit decided that last Monday should be Nate Berkus Day in honor of his new show starting Sep 13th, and since we all LOVE the adorable and unequivocally talented Nate I decided I better jump on the band wagon for my White Hot Wednesday. I fell instantly in love with this Chinoiserie bedroom. It's simple and gorgeous and I knew it would be fairly easy to recreate on a budget.

Take this beautiful faux bamboo armoire and give it a fresh coat of white paint available here
