House Update Part 3

I have some house updates!! I am still deciding on fabrics and window panels but here are a few updates..


My chesterfield arrived and I LOVE it!! I have been wanting one of these bad boys forever so I'm thrilled. It looks great against the blue/gray wall.. You a can see a peak of my lucite coffee table and its brass edges. I need to decide on pillow fabrics for this room and curtains..

Kitchen progress... More to come here!

My parents came to visit and helped me paint and update some of my furniture. Remember it was orange before..

I am thinking of the fabric sitting on the chair and possibly this green..

Someone is getting used to her new home rather well... Although I know she misses the sights and sounds of the ocean. Now were about 5 mins away..

Sorry for the poor quality of pics but It's easier to do updates with the trusty iphone!  I can't wait to show you all the before and afters! It's pretty shocking!

Lilac Lovin!

I absolutely love Liz Caan's design studio Paloma posted! I am just loving the violet with pops of black and magenta! Isn't it soo fabulous! Can you imagine if this is where you worked?!

Sunshineee

I am soo inspired by yellow right now, whether it's a simple pop of yellow or full blown yellow decor. For some reason it's not an easy fabric to find. Wouldn't you think it would be simple? Sometimes the things you think would be soo easy end up a nightmare! Anywho here's a little sunshine yellow lovin.

Fab 70's Inspired Kitchen

 Ummm can we discuss how amazing this kitchen is?! Now hold on to your hats, it's Ikea!! If your like me.. Then you can relate when I say I have a total love/hate relationship with Ikea. I'm always overwhelmed when I'm there and end up feeling like the items look well how do I put this nicely "cheap". But this kitchen may have just changed my mind! This hardware made it just soo darn amazing. I cannot get over it!

Beachy little Pad

While I am beyond excited to be moving to our new house soon, I am a little sad to be leaving our little beach pad! Thank god I will be able to come back on the weekends! I can't complain our new house is only 8 minutes from the beach but MAN I will miss the view and falling asleep to the sound of the waves! I may have to get one of those "beach sounds CD's" hehe

Looky What I Got!!

I've been wanting one of these Dabney Lee trays forever! So when I saw them pop up on Joss and Main for a fraction of the price I had to swoop one up!!  Get yours here.   I also was tempted to get one of these catch all boxes! Soo cute!

House Update Part 2

Things are moving along.. Yesterday, marble counter tops were installed and hardwood installation began.. Now it's all about the details! I think I've finally decided on a back splash tile and hardware.. And I've been trying to bring Lilly every now and then so that she gets used to her new house. Unfortunately, I have to leave on a work trip next weekend for two weeks, so shes going to be in her new house without her mama!! Soo heartbroken about this! I know that she is going to be so confused!! Poor Thing! It couldn't have come at a worse time with so much going on but.. What can I do!!!

How cute is Tori's House?! I have forever loved her kitchen, but this family room with the orange chesterfield is sooo purdy!!! Speaking of chesterfields I got a message yesterday that mine has arrived! Soo excited I can't wait for that baby to be delivered!!!
