Have you seen in Magazines where they do high and low features? Where one room is filled with over the top priced items and the other is filled with more modestly priced.. Well I love them, specifically because I don't believe that beautiful design has to come with a huge price tag. If you learn anything from this blog at all, that is what I would want it to be..
So check out this high and low ..
Can you guess which is the low?? The first one is the low!
Low= 4,000
High=10,000
Amazing right.. If you want the resources they are here

Closet LOVE
Soo while on spring break I've been catching up on my "reading" I looked all the way though Mary Mcdonalds latest book, which I absolutley LOVE. One of my very favorite rooms is her closet! However, Im wondering what is currently happening in there since when she was featured on One Kings Lane she sold some of the items here. Like the chair at her vanity, and the bamboo tufted ottoman.. Why would you EVER sell that ottoman is beyond me.. It is to DIE for!!

House Inspiration
Sooo me and the Hubmistro have started to look for our first home so of course my inspiration file is piling up!! I thought each week I would share what I've found and what I'm diggin about it.. It makes the process so much more fun for me, I constantly find myself decorating whole rooms in my head. Can you relate? Sometimes I even dream up whole rooms, then I wake up and I'm like wow where did that come from. ahhaha
Pretty much love it all, but especially the floors and french doors! yummy |
Oldie but a goodie, Love that Chesterfield Sofa and the built in bookcase.. |

Bliss... Peppermint Bliss
I am so excited to be posting this gorgeous house that belongs to Bailey of Peppermint Bliss, now I had a feeling that her house was going to be gorgeous when I saw a glimpse of her kitchen in a silly photo she took of her hubby. But WOW I was blown away with this home. It is a dream! I mean the arched doorways, the gorgeous gobs of fabric and wallpaper.. Let's not forget her closet. Truly a dream!
I just discovered Bailey's blog a few months ago and have LOVED it ever since, she is super silly, quirky, and expecting a little baby girl so if you haven't checked out her blog yet hop on over here, I promise it will not disappoint.

Eclectic Spanish Style Pad
I love Spanish Style homes, and this one is no exception! I love this eclectic pad that belongs to stationary designer Cristina Re. She says in her interview here that; "She loves to collect pretty and unique things from her travels to Paris, Rome, LA and Shanghai".
Ideas to steal from the Article:
1. Start with clean, white walls and use objects, like candle holders and vintage signs, to give your home a warm ambiance. That way, if fashion trends change in the future, you can easily change the look of your space.
2. Create different colour schemes for each room, choosing a maximum of two to three colours, to create a bold contrasting effect.
3. Use spray paint on old picture frames or other decorative objects so they complement your colour scheme. It’s amazing how quick and easy it can be to transform a simple, old piece into something beautiful and new again.

Serenity
I don't know about you but I need a little serenity today! Yesterday was soo crazy! A friend and I made the drive home for a bridal shower and bachelorette party this weekend we left for the 8 hour drive on Friday after work and drove home yesterday! We had such a blast, but the drive home was crazy! It was pouring, and there was even snow on the grapevine! Thank god 1996 Grammy Nominations CD got us through it. Think Colio (Dangerous Minds) and some Mariah Carey.. Amazing. Yes, I still rock to the 15 yr old CD. haha

Don't Ya Love a Good Before and After
I sure do! and I just adore this playroom that Alice Lane made over!
LOVE this After! They did such a good job of mixing prints, and making it feel chic but not stuffy!
Love the yellow door! Don't ya want to go play in there?! check out more photos on their blog

Designer Lovin: Kishani Perera
I knew I loved Kishani when I saw her in her bedroom with her pug! Us pug people we just "get" each other. Mostly because were all crazy pug people that are obsessed with our dogs. Ok soo that wasn't all I loved about her.. I mean her designs are always to die for.. Insert Molly Sims home that will always be a favorite of mine..
