Light Lovin at Overstock

Without a doubt my favorite part of decorating is lighting! I tend to be drawn to either modern glamours lighting or more of an Asian chinoiserie eclectic feeling. I know I'm all over the map!! Overstock.com has some great options if your on a budget like me! Here are some of my favorites of their table lamps and home lighting.

Swoon Worthy Office Spaces

In my opinion, one of the most important aspect of creating a beautiful room comes from an inspiration! The main reason I actually started this blog was because I figured if I could help inspire just one person then It would be well worth it. I have several blogs that inspire me artistically and actually also on a personal level.

That being said I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite offices spaces and inspiration boards.

Weekend Warrior Girlfriend Style

Yesterday, I told you that I would share a little weekend warrior project! My good girlfriend had mentioned that she wanted to get a small console table to paint...so I suggested that we hit up my favorite antique store, The Estate Warehouse, and sure enough we found a great table for $65. Next we went over to home depot and found the perfect paint color Peacock by Glidden, and followed the same painting instructions as here.

We put a little wine on ice and got to work!! Who says you can't mix business and pleasure?

Set a Summer Table for Under $20

W Dallas Penthouse

Thanks to Made By Girl for introducing me to this FAB pad! It belongs to a Brother and Sister Kari and Kirby Schlegel, and was featured in D Home. They both wanted to live in the W in Dallas, and there father figured hey instead of buying a place for each why not buy the penthouse just a mere 12,200 square feet. The family then approached architect Lionel Morrison with the idea of creating two separate apartments dissected by a central grand salon, which would be ideal for entertaining.

So here ya have it!! I mean could these two be any luckier? And guess who they used as their Interior Designer.. None other than the amazing Jan Showers.
