Weekend Warrior Beachside Pad

A few weeks ago my girlfriend called and said she needed some help in her home. Specifically she had a table that her and her hubby had inherited from his last job that they had been using for a dining table. She wanted to make it look less like an office table and more "homey", I said no prob and grabbed another friend to come along.

We had a great girls weekend and got a lot done in her home. Since we were on a budget we shopped at Home Goods, Pier One, and Home Depot for paint.

Here's the before of her home:

My god daughter with the before of the chair. Isn't she adorable!! :-)

Here's the After:

We painted the harsh black on the tables the perfect shade of "Tiffany Blue" and gave the chairs a coat of white spray paint.
Hit up Home Goods for the accessories, and Pier One for the Chair! The little table was also inherited from his work but with such a cute shape we knew it had to be blue!
But then we went to another Home Goods to return a few things and look what we found:

Isn't it adorable! It was marked down from $399 to $250 but then asked and got it marked down to $225 because their was a very small hole from where the tag had been! SCORE!
She still needs a few things, such as a kid friendly coffee table and rug, but I just love the way its turned out so far.

Great color scheme....either two cabinets, or small bookcases would look great flanking the fireplace, and maybe the mirrors could be lowered just a bit.

Thanks Suzie! I love it too. It's a great start, for a little Manhattan beach pad :)

You have done such a great job, I'm inspired with how good the Dining Table looks with a very small amount of paint!!
