How cute is Tori's House?! I have forever loved her kitchen, but this family room with the orange chesterfield is sooo purdy!!! Speaking of chesterfields I got a message yesterday that mine has arrived! Soo excited I can't wait for that baby to be delivered!!!

I'm Alive I Swear!

I'm sorry things have been so slow around here, but we have been soo busy trying to get the house move in ready that I've been running around like a chicken with my head cut off! I'm exhausted and all I want to do is look at some pretty images! Here' hoping you feel like some eye candy ;-)

This is how I picture my house will be, neutral backdrop with lots of pops of fun COLOR to spice things up! I can't wait to decorate!!!

How adorable is this little place?! It's only 450 square feet, which is about the size of the beach cottage! She made every inch fab. Especially that closet.. If only the cottage had a closet like this!

House Update Part 1

Escrow is officially closed and this was the first weekend we worked on the house. It was a pure demo weekend! A wall came down, yucky wallpaper border off, floors torn out, kitchen counter broken down, all base boards and door mouldings were torn off!!  It was a noisy mess but it only means that beauty is on the way!!

First thing I need is HELP, So I am trying to pick two different shades of gray and a bluish gray. I am going to go with the fourth color over for the bluish gray but I cannot find a gray to save my life! I want something soft and airy for the bathroom and a little darker and saturated for the island..  Everything keeps turning out violet. Especially in my upstairs bathroom! It is driving me bonkers! Does anyone have any good recommendations for a gray that WILL NOT look violet?

Feeling Inspired

As of late I have definitely been feeling inspired by BOLD color combo's! It's been so beautiful and warm in San Diego, and there is nothing like adding a pop of color to reflect the season. I know lots of people are a little intimidated by color and don't want their homes to feel WILD so my suggestion would be to take a note from these fab spaces and start with a neutral background and then throw in pops of color with throw pillows, rugs or a bright piece of furniture. I promise you won't regret it!

Adorable Kitchen

Now this is different than the look I am going for ... But this kitchen is a favorite because it's just plain adorable!! I quite love it! I belongs to one of my favorite Designers Erin V. How fab is that wallpaper?!
And speaking of kitchens.. Thanks soo much to those of you who left advice on the marble!! It really made me more confident in my decision!
